How do you delete the bottom panel on KDE?
I've set up Ubuntu with KDE and make it work like Apple MacOS (just the way I like it) and want the dock, just like OSX. But, one problem: I can't delete the bottom bar. Kind of stupid, but it won't let me. Does someone know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance. |
You should specify how you have tried to delete it.
Try 'killall kicker' http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-panel-258998/ |
That killed all my applets on the top bar. Now, how do i fix thet?

But that's a guess... knowing what you did, what you hoped to achieve, and what happened - exactly - helps us tailor a solution to for you. You've told us the second part (you wanted to remove the bottom panel) but none of the rest. Can you remove the top panel, for eg? |
I don't think you can remove the main panel, but you can certainly hide it. Right click it, go to Configure panel->Hiding.
Check off only hide when panel button is pressed, and Show left panel button. Hide the panel, and then uncheck show left panel button. It should be gone now. |
