Unhappy hotmail "inbox" link not working in amsn

I installed amsn and the only problem I have is I can't access my inbox through the link. I've created a bookmark in mozilla for now but it would be handy to just link over.

I get a message like mozilla $url check prefrences. So I try to change some settings in a couple different prefrence area's to no avail. I'm plugged into my home router via ethernet cable. The internet connection seems to be working fine.

any ideas?

the setting that needs to be changed, is the "browser" setting in the "other" tab. if you're using mozilla firefox it should be set to firefox $url.

If you are using plain mozilla im assuming it should be set to "mozilla" instead of firefox.

It also works with me when set to xdg-open $url.

hope that helps.
