Host site on one server and mail on another

I have a client that wants to have me host their site and handle their html pages for them - but they want the mail for the domain routed to an online exchange server.

Is this just a simple as changing their MX records for the site and pointing them to the mail server - which will allow http requests to still go to the page?

I know it's not specifically Linux related - but it's one of many issues I'm working on.

Thanks

yep, just set the MX record right, nothing more to it, outside of the server configs themselves, which have nothing in common.
