high speed modem 56k problem in ubuntu


Hello

I have a Twinhead e12b laptop . when i install ubuntu 7.4 all hardware recognize .but my high speed 56k modem did not recognized .

please help me

it's probably a winmodem.
have a look at www.linmodems.org

I wouldn't call that high speed. High speed is 1Mbps - 20Mbps
It's not worth it. Get a external hw modem or move up to DSL or cable modems, if it's available to you.
