Question Help Me !! Getting errors on Installing WINE- Software in Ubantu 9.10

Hello, Everybody -

I am facing one big problem at the time of installation "WINE- Software" in Ubantu 9.10 (Karmic Release), errors are like-

GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net karmic Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 5A9A06AEF9CB8DB0

Actually I was planning to work with some "Windows application" program thru "Wine package", but could not able to install WINE software because of this error.

Plz help me to get read of this problem,

Thanks,

Dibakar

Wine is present in the standard Ubuntu repositories. Why did you add a ppa repository to your system? Or did you add a ppa repository for something else?
In any case, the error you are getting is likely because you need to add the GPG key for the ppa repository that you decided to add to your system.
To add a repository to your system, including the GPG key, see these articles which pretty much cover all the bases:
https://help.ubuntu.com/9.10/add-app...ing-repos.html
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Ubuntu
Or check out the simple way from Ubuntu-Geek, the founder of the Ubuntu forums:
http://www.ubuntugeek.com/ubuntu-tip...in-karmic.html
Or you can just comment out (i.e., put a # in front of) or remove the ppa repository. Then when you either install the GPG key, or comment out, or remove the ppa repo, just run:
Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine
and you should be good to go.
Write back if you need more help. If you do need more help, then please post the output of:
Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list
and the contents of any files in the: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory.
