GStreamer sound problem with Fesity

Hi!

I installed Feisty when it was just a beta. Now it is stable and I ran apt-get update, upgrade, dist-upgrade. I am having troubles with the sound. When clicking on the GStreamer volume control on the desktop it outputs an error message:
Quote:

No volume control GStreamer plugins and/or devices found.
I have no clue how to deal with sound. It would be very great if you could give me some tipps where to start fixing this problem at least.

Try right-clicking the volume control and selecting Preferences. See if you can select your sound card in the drop-down menu. If that doesnŽt work or if no sound card is listed in the drop-down menu above, please post the output of
Code:

lspci -v
and
Code:

lsmod | grep snd
IŽll try to help.
