Gnome3 and Ubuntu 11.04

As I've learned Ubuntu 11.04 will not use Gnome as it's default desktop anymore, but the newly developed Unity desktop. How will that affect Ubuntu users possibility to install Gnome3 from the repositories?
As a long time Gnome fan Gnome3 is something I would like to use on Ubuntu in the future. The alternative is to switch to another distro that actually will implement Gnome3.

It won't. You just have to install it yourself.
