gnome + gtk + cairo

i would like to install a gtk theme from

its a cairo engine theme.

a quick goolge on the above suggests I need compiz and glade/gl libs.

1. What is cairo engine; do I need it; where can I get it for ubuntu (deb) packages?
2. What is compiz. do i need it and where can I get it for ubuntu (deb) packages?
3. Will all this work on my onboard SIS video chipset (motherboard about 1yr old).

Thanks in advance.
