gksu "update-manager -c", command not found

I am trying to upgrade Kubuntu 6.06 to Kubuntu 6.10 using the command:
Code:
gksu "update-manager -c"
But when I do I get this error:
Code:
tparks@dell4500:~$ gksu "update-manager -c"
bash: gksu: command not found
I then tried:
Code:
tparks@dell4500:~$ sudo gksu "update-manager -c"
sudo: gksu: command not found
I found quite a few websites that mentioned that that was the 'official' way to upgrade. What am I doing wrong? I also have the CD (just downloaded it) I suppose that I can just use that to upgrade also, is one recommended over the other?

Thanks,
Todd

Is gksu installed? Normally not a default app on many distros. It is usually put in /usr/bin so any user can use it with a the full path to the command.

Shouldn't make a difference, though, right? gksu and gksudo should both work in this context.

I appreciate all of the suggestions. I'm not sure what I did wrong on the upgrade but the end result is I really hosed Kubuntu

I did a clean install of it and everything is fine now. Is there an 'official' upgrade process that Kubuntu recommends? I found this link:
Upgrade to Edgy
Would this be the suggested way to do it? I see a Method A and Method B, is one better then the other? It does not state so but is Method A using the CD for this process?

Thanks,
Todd
