git installation and confugurations

Hi

i have tryed with git server installation in ubuntu 12.04, also i refered with google. but can't impliment it. please provide the actual git server configuration details or website link to refer. thiese are the methords i choosed. 1: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Git

Both are different, now i am confusing, how to configure git server to store the sourse codes in centralized server for employees.

would be better to explain what have you tried and what was the result. Have you got any error messages?

Yes i got, i can't install gitosis in ubuntu12.04, but its working with ubunut 10.04, what will ido now...?
