Getting Bluetooth to work on my Dell Inspiron 1525 running Ubuntu 8.10

Hi,

I recently switched from Microsoft Windows Vista to Ubuntu 8.10, everything is going on smoothly except for the bluetooth. There is an Led Display which shows whether my bluetooth is switched on or not...and it does not light up.

I tried enabling bluetooth but in vain. Could someone help me on this???

The bluetooth light might not be supported by the driver. That doesn't however mean that bluetooth isn't working.

No, I'm pretty sure that the bluetooth isnt working as I tried sending a file to my mobile but my mobile wasnt even detected....
