GDM-XDMCP possible issue. LTSP

OK. Ubuntu 5.04. installed LTSP 4.1. DHCP works. PXE works. Thin clients boot into graphical mode. I can see a cross thatched image(background). But it goes no farthur. I am not prompted with a login screen. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

got it to work. Just had to go into the system configuration and allow remote connections. Nobody else online has mentioned this. If I reinstall I'll try to document everything step by step.
