Interesting. Not very in depth, but I have been using the beta for ages and would have to agree with most of those points.

Also, Ubuntu One has a directory in your /home folder which lets you view and modify your files in "The cloud"

Good review! You are right about Ubuntu One. I believe it will get even better in the next release if it is adopted by users.

I would have to agree with con number 2: I have just wasted several hours trying to get a working widescreen framebuffer console, all in vain. The culprit is GRUB 2, which is (at this time?) incompatible with large resolution widescreen but, well, why do they insist on pushing these half-finished things in the first place? I see the issue has been reported by others and it has been assigned low priority... I have considered reverting to GRUB legacy but there should be a solution when Koala goes public so I'll hold off a couple of days.

I'm using a 10" screen on my netbook so I haven't had that problem
