Firefox not reflecting changes after installing map-0.7.1

Hello all,

I am facing a strange problem configuring FF3 to open .mht files. I was unsuccessful in configuring FF2 to open .mht files, i was not able to install the map0.6 version for FF2. I somehow found maf-0.7.1_unofficial-fx for FF3. It installs without any problems, but the changes are not reflecting in FF3. The add-ons status in FF3 says restart Firefox for the changes to take place and the message stays until i disable maf. I tried reinstalling, restarted etc. .. .but, the problem still exists.

But Strangely, this working on my laptop!

Can anyone help me.
