Firefox freezes since update

I just updated to 7.10, and finished about an hour ago. Previous problems that I had are gone now, which I'm very happy about, but now I have a new problem. Firefox keeps freezing up at various sites, especially this one. I have to use Konqueror at the moment, which works ok but I was really hoping to use Firefox. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Maybe you could try out a newer version of firefox .. not a package .. download the binary straight from firefox site and try to run that.

Alternatively, try with a new profile (practically means you start with a new default version of firefox) / try firefox in safe mode.

Based upon what happens in all above, you could get a solution to your problem

Oh, gosh, I don't know why I didn't think to just reinstall it. Lol, I feel really dumb now. Thanks, it works now.
