Question File System

I have partitioned a piece of my HDD for an Ubuntu installation; however, I am not sure which File System that partition should have. FAT32? NTFS?

you can leave it blank as ubuntu will format it for you, also it won't be NTFS as linux (generally) can't write to NTFS. It will be ext3
