Feisty-LIRC wont compile.
 
I have tried going from source and using Synaptic but still nothing I get the same error everytime.

I can't seem to find any information on this ad very little on LIRC. Is there an alternative? All I want is for it to work. If you need any more info just ask...

Forgot to mention that I an using a Windows MediaCenter Remote.

I was able to find a very good tutorial on how to setup it up http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php...u_lirc_install now the remote recieves signals but wont work for mythtv. How do I got about doing this?

OOPS! I missed the . in ~/.lircrc. But I still have oine thing remaining the External channel changing for my cablebox. Any program to do this or command?
