In order to try to figure out what is going on, please post the output of:
Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
This is the same as running Ubuntu's update manager, but it will display the whole output in the terminal.
Please post the output in code tags by clicking on the # at the top of the post window when you reply so that the output is easier to read.

It seems the update manager has a problem with the libreoffice-help-en-gb package.
Have you added any third party repos to your Ubuntu 12.04 sources.list?? This includes those PPA repos.
In partitcular, have you added any third party repos for Libre Office??
If so, then remove those and run update manager again and see if the problem disappears.

If you are only using the default Ubuntu 12.04 repositories, then see this bug report on Launchpad:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...e/+bug/1006484
As it says there: Removing the packages libreoffice-help-en-gb and libreoffice-help-en-us avoids the problem. So you could try removing those two packages and see if the error goes away.

As I suspected, it seems that you have several PPA repos in your sources.list.
What are those PPA repos for? And are any of those PPA repos for Libre Office??

First, just try just removing the libreoffice-help-en-gb and libreoffice-help-en-us packages and see if the error goes away.

If that does not fix it, then you could try removing (or just comment out) those PPA repos (especially any that are Libre Office) and then running update manager again. (Note, to comment out a repo, just place a # in front of it in your /etc/apt/sources.list file, or in front of any file in your /etc/apt/sources.d/ directory).

I've some PPA no longer needed, nothing for Libreoffice, only one I use is Jupiter, the power safer for notebook.
To clean things up, I decided to remove and reinstall Libreoffice, hopeful will clear out the problem.

Also try reomiving removing the libreoffice-help-en-gb and libreoffice-help-en-us packages as I said in my last post and see if the error goes away.

If your PPA repos are no longer needed then you should most definitely remove them.

The English help file is what the update manager pop up for installation, I removed it and no more pop up even after reload, I think that's the cause of the problem, I think I still have the US one installed.
