I am trying to install ubuntu on Microsofts virtual PC and I am trying to change the color depth from 24 to 16 because VPC does not support 24. I was told to logon recovery console and then type cd etc\x11 but that folder does not exist.

where is xorg.conf located? I cant find the x11 folder
