Exclamation Error on starting Totem.....!!


Hi guys,

Whenever i am opening any of my Media Applications like Totem, Cd player etc.
The following error is coming.....

"Failed to create the player:Could'nt initialize scheduler.Did u run gst -register"

Whats this all about??
How do i rectify this crap.....??

please help!!

Did you run gst -register?

Gst is gstreamer by the way; never worked for me either, I just don't use GNOME media components any more.

Sorry it's not a real solution but Xine is more functional than Totem and XMMS will play CDs just fine.
