I am trying to upgrade to 10.04 from 9.10 by mounting the ISO at /cdrom0 ,But I get this error during the "getting new packages" step

if anyone understands what "Hash Sum mismatch" is and how to solve it???????

does the md5sum of your iso match what Ubuntu says it should be? try redownloading?

How do I check that md5sum,I mean do I need to match the name of the two files???If so the names are same,both in md5sum And the pool folder
