encoding bitrates
Hi
If I'm converting DixV to DVD video, and the source (divX) bitrate is being reported as 953Kps then if I use anything higher than this in the encoder routine (say 3000kpbs) I suppose the final video quality will be no better than the original?? How do I work out the bitrate for my DivX to DVD using mencoder? Lots of questions! Thanks in advance. |
You NEVER will the higher quality in the reencoded video.
But MPEG2 codec needs a pixelrate at least for times as ASP MPEG4 codec for same quality. E.g. if you has a .16 bit/pixel MPEG4 video, you should reencode in .72 bit/pixel MPEG2 video. |
I like the easy way out and just use devede
