Unhappy EEEBUNTU 9.04 startup problem

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hello,
I'm new with Linux.
I have installe EEEBUNTU on my eeepc 100h and now I can't startup.
The system ask me user and password, then the desktop appears but I get an error message that my less then 10 seconds session is going to be shut down for errors.
After try to recover with authomatic tools sometimes it works, then it fails again and the error is not always the same. I didn't log the errors.

Any hint?

ciao

Hello and welcome, Matteo
Without a log output of or messages error it is hard to say. If you can from terminal run
Quote:
cat /var/log/messages > log_messages.txt
this will create a the file log_messages.txt in your home folder. You can than copy that info here so we can see if there were any obvious errors thrown.

cheers

Just a side note I am using easypeasy on my netbook and it has been pretty flawless, other than one tweak to the touchpad.
