e17 preferences...

Good day all,
I successfully installed E17 through source packages...Everything is pretty much compiled and configured...I have e17 in Xsessions window..But when i logon to e17 my preferences arent being saved...For instance..i change the background and theme settings..When i logoff and log back reverts back to the default e17 theme..Im unsure if my /etc/apt/preferences files is the right is the file

Pin: version 0.16.999*
Pin-Priority: 999

Package: enlightenment-data
Pin: version 0.16.999*
Pin-Priority: 999
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

I have found that E17 never bothers to alert the user when there is an error reading or writing to a file (due to permissions for example) and instead just carries on as if nothing ever happened.

With that in mind, make sure that the ~/.e directory exists and is not read-only. This is where the per-user configuration options are held.

it work..

Thanks i check file permissions and it was set to read only..Thanks for your help....
