DVDs; Yes There's A Catch

Ok I want to play a encoded DVD I can't do this through windows as it has constipation issues with DVDs. The catch is that it has to be done 100% offline; I can download files on another computer put them on a flash drive and than on my comp. There wont be any legal issues with the encoding stuff as I live in the US and they haven't sued me for watching DVDs on the other windows computer.

Go to:

http://packages.medibuntu.org/

select your version in the list

then choose

libdvdcss2 from the list

then pick amd64 or i386 to download the .deb file.

Copy it to a flash drive, mount it in the ubuntu computer and navigate to the directory and

Code:
sudo dpkg -i libdvdcss2*
to install the package.

Then you should be able to watch DVDs with your media player.
