Do folder window backgrounds exist?

Hi and thanks!

Is there any way to apply color, texture, or graphics to particular folder window backgrounds in KDE or elsewhere, so that when you open a Konqueror window to say the home directory, the window displays a unique background? I've tried searching here and Google but if there's something, I'm using the wrong expression to search. Seems a useful goody to have.

I'm pretty sure that currently Konqueror/Dolphin/Nautilus cannot save backgrounds on per directory basis. Does anyone know any different?
