disable auto disk check

Hi,

I have a custom modified Ubuntu LiveCD. Sometimes when I boot from the CD, after it detects the HDDs it starts automatically scanning and repairing them even if the partitions are windows partitions.

What do I need to modify to make it not scan/repair any partitions/drives at boot?

Please help

Thanks

I've got a single idea: look what automounter your CD uses and turn it off. and after that you could just enter in the console "mount /dev/sdLx /mnt/someplace".

the thing is that the partitions are not mounted at boot and there's nothing about them in /etc/fstab

any ideas?
