Debian Packages and Ubuntu

Hi,

I would like to install NdisWrapper on my new Ubuntu5.04 laptop, and have a very simple question.

Do I need to compile and install from source, or can I use the Debian package on the NdisWrapper web site?

I know that Ubuntu is based of Debian, but not sure that this means anything.

Thanks!

even though ubuntu is based on debian sid its advised that you don't mix debian sid packages and ubuntu ones.
