Customizing Ubuntu

I've seen some pretty good Gnome desktops running ubuntu. Some where the terminal is transparent without the window boarders or the max/min/close buttons. I've even seen docks and widgets. How can I get these?

Thanx!

You might try here: http://art.gnome.org/ or google for gnome themes and see what comes up.
