Question Ctrl-Alt-Del What is the Equivalent in Ubuntu ?

I would like to know what is the equivalent to ctrl-alt-del in Ubuntu or find out how to kill a process or both

Answer found in Linux Newbie Guide
<Ctrl>c
Kill the current process (mostly in the text mode for small applications).

Hmm, it would help if you told us what you expect "ctrl-alt-del" to do.

Recent Ubuntu releases come with something called "system monitor". See for example http://virtualmcube.com/os/linux/how...es-ubuntu-1204
Alternatively you can use top interactively in a terminal, or a combination of ps and kill, or perhaps xkill. Many options.
