cryptsetup: WARNING: could not determine root device from /etc/fstab

I'm currently trying to remaster the Ubuntu 8.04 LiveCD, but after compiling the ISO and running it through an emulator, i am met with the BusyBox, initramfs screen. After searching the web, i believe it's because i installed a program, which needed to update initramfs. When it was updating it, i received this warning:
Code:
cryptsetup: WARNING: could not determine root device from /etc/fstab
I believe this is the cause of my problem. Does anyone have any experience with LiveCDs and or cryptsetup?

Nevermind, i managed to get by it. Turns out this warning is actually nothing to worry about. All i needed to do was rebuild initrd.gz using mkinitramfs, and then move it to the casper directory for the LiveCD.

Thanks for your time, though.

Attempting to load (option being No changes to a 2002 HP Pavilion WinXP notebook) Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop with ISO burnt as Live CD I'm dropped into a black ASH shell Busybox (initramfs) command line with blinking cursor. Despite several attempts to edit boot Hardy Heron using F6 options with suggestions I googled it always drops me back into same darn Busybox screen.
Can anyone give me a clue how to proceed to load Ubuntu 8.04 Live CD never having encountered this problem loading any earlier Ubuntu Live CD versions on this very same old HP notebook PC?
Thanks to all in advance.
