I'm trying to create a custom kernel (for better performance), and I was wondering if there was a way to create the kernel with the live cd (Feisty), and select the custom kernel during installation. Any ideas?
PS
Any suggestions would be nice. This post received little to no support on the ubuntuforums.
Hey, would anyone know to/or have a thorough guide on how to create a custom kernel? (By thorough, I do mean it actually Explains the steps, as apposed to a guide in which the author assumes the reader knows Exactly what they're doing)
