Configure directory for incoming files does not exist
This pop up box keeps occuring with each bootup.

you installed something which requires a configured download dir. I do not know if you need that software or not...

Ubuntu has some klunky ways of installing software.
I understand that it is supposed to be able to use .deb packages, but some of them did not run nor did they make any menu entry. But I like Ubuntu. My webcam which did not record audio on other distros, did work though the volume is really low on playback. |

Ubuntu 16.04. 64bit/mate/. In my case I have renamed my main computer user, so after the old home directory was removed I got this message.
