Compilling Frontline in Feisty Fawn

Hello I have been attempting to compile frontline so that I can use autotrace through Gimp.I have followed the instructions in this thread.

Autotrace is install as I can access it via the command line, Yet I continue to receive the following error:

checking for AUTOTRACE - version >= 0.31.1... no
*** The autotrace-config script installed by AUTOTRACE could not be found
*** If AUTOTRACE was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the AUTOTRACE_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to autotrace-config.
configure: error: Cannot find autotrace library or the library is too old.

Any help you could offer for this Linux newbee will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Fillister
