command line requires authorization with network server


i currently have a server configured to host websites but it is only a command line and to authorize it i need a browser. is there a way to force it through?

okay i have a configured webserver running apache. i am at school and the network i am on requires users to be verified. to verify you have to a web browser and log in. my webserver is command line based.

my problem is how do i verify?

do you mean that people logging into your webserver should have their own user/pass?

If you want a text based web browser (which I think is what your asking for), look at lynx or elinks. Both are available in the main ubuntu repository, and elinks is on the server CD.
