Command Line


I am interested in becoming more literate in the command line(as in actually understanding commands)is there a website or something desighned to help with this?

that seems to be a fairly comprehensive site. it covers the basics and then moves on into more complex aspects of the shell. I must add I haven't ever used it, but just googled "linux command line tutorial" and that's what it threw up...

Take a look at rute. Its a Linux book that has good topics on using the command line.
