Cannot connect to Internet

Hello all..

New to linux :

I installed UBUNTU 6.06 yesterday, at my home and was able to connect to the Internet using wireless card.

Today, came to work and plugged in my CAT5 cable here, and iam not able to connect to the internet..I think, i have to make some changes to network settings.; Anyhelp is appreciated..

Please specify which NIC. You may have to install a driver.

how do we find the NIC ?...help me here, iam new to linux..

Your Ubuntu is a year old. The latest release of Ubuntu, Feisty Fawn 7.04, has considerable improvement in working with wireless as well as other improvements. Dell has selected 7.04 to ship pre-installed on some of their systems -- nuf said.
