Building a package from source

Hi

There is a package in Ubuntu 12.04, OpenTurns version 0.15, i believe, which belobgs to the repositories...

I tried to build it from source, downloading from the application webpage, http://www.openturns.org/?subwindow=home, but it fails, with a rather cyptic message when trying to compile a Fortran source file... well, I have gfortan installed, and i have already compiled lots of stuff, in fortran and C/C++.

I wanto to build the development version of OpenTurns, which is version 1.0, but i would like to knw which files are patched prior to building from sources in Ubuntu...

How can i build from sources in Ubuntu, using the Ubuntu patches...?

Best regards

Alex

openturns-1.0, this is the principle for building the .deb packages :
1) sudo apt-get build-dep openturns
2) Add this line to /etc/apt/sources.list :
deb-src <url> quantal universe
3) sudo apt-get update
4) cd /home/alex/<new-empty-directory>/
5) apt-get -b source openturns=1.0-4

Reading the patches :
mkdir openturns-1.0-patch && cd openturns-1.0-patch/ && tar xvf openturns_1.0-4.debian.tar.gz
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/poo....debian.tar.gz
