Brasero problems

I've a problem: I use ubuntu Edgy and Brasero (bonfire) don't recognize a dvd driver. I've to drivers: a dvd driver and a RW driver and wen I try copy a cd just appears the RW driver.
Who Knows the solution?

Why don't you try the latest version? This site provides good replacement packages for Dapper/Edgy
I installed 0.5.1 one of these days with no problems.
