BootLoader (or arranque) for Ubuntu

I am using Debian Sarge 3.1 on a Dell Desktop & Ubuntu 6.0.6 Lts on a Dell Laptop and most of the thing are running OK. Now there is a program call "arranque" (I think it is BootLoader in english) in the system menu on the Debian distribution & I would like to install it in my laptop (Ubuntu with GNome), but I do not know what to do unless I have to install KDE.

Is there any help?
