booting from external HDD

i have winxp on my primary hard drive had ubuntu but had to remove it so now i decided to get an external hdd to install it so .. i got a SATA 60 gigas HDD but i found out my BIOS wont boot from SATA so.. asked on some forums and answered me that with supergrub i could... but i had to do a second partition in my primary drive of about 100mb and place /boot in it and from there....

that is all i was said.. i dont know what to do .. plz help me

get the all in one boot floppy, i'll e-mail you the image, use raw-write in winXP, you'll have to download that yourself, it has GRUB, smart boot loader so you can boot CD's and i'm not sure but i think it does have SATA capabilities.
