Bleeding Edge Repositories

Does anyone know if there are any repositories out there that contain more bleeding edge packages? Are the main ubuntu repositories the only ones out there? For example, any repositories where I can get a deb for Firefox 1.5 Beta?

Also, are the ubuntu repositories only updated every six months with a new release, or more often?

I don't know of any repositories that have Firefox beta 1.5. The Ubuntu repositories do get updated more than every six months, though, and the backports usually have the latest packages (even if not the most bleeding-edge).

You can always install Firefox beta 1.5 from the Mozilla .tar ball, though.

Try http://www.apt-get.org (at your own risk). If there's a .deb repository out there, they probably have a link to it.
