I'm having no luck getting either of these programs installed in Kubuntu 64bit. I can't find any repositories which have a 64-bit version of beryl, and can't install the 32bit versions. Compiz also has installation issues complaining about not being able to find some qdecorator.moc.
Also I can't run skype either, it complains about no libasound.so.2 which I have.
I'm haveing the same problem, can't install most stuff because of 64 bit lack of soft
