Auto mount Shared folder in Ubuntu guest in vertualbox.


How do I auto mount shared folders in ubuntu running in VirtualBox? I have tride sudo mount -t vboxsf share /home/

You need to create a "folder path/folder name" first before you run mount command. You can do that by clicking on the "shared folder" icon at the bottom of VirtualBox winddow.

For instance if your "folder path/folder name" is like this "share/c:\myapp" then you can run the command below to mount your c:\myapp to Linux directory /mnt/shared.

> mount -t vboxsf share /mnt/shared

That I had done. It's been a while since I have tride it and since there is a new Vertual box 2.0. I will install it and try again.
