asus n7600 problem in ubuntu 7.10

Hi all,

I have recently migrated from xp to linux and i am very happy with all aspects of it, apart from one fairly major problem.

I cant for the life of me work out how to get my graphics card to conform with the rest of my hardware?

the card is a asus n7600 silent with 256ddr memory.

I managed to get it going through using the restricted drivers manager. But alas my screen resolution is something ridiculous which at the moment is unmanageable.

all help greatly appreciated.

Solved.

Seemed I did not notice all the handy software which is available in Linux, got it working tweaking the card itself.

thanks, draft,
