apt-move : Creating the Release.gpg error!!


hi,

i get the following errors when i try to do

gpg -bao dists/dapper/Release.gpg dists/dapper/Release

gpg: [don't know]: invalid packet (ctb=31)
gpg: keydb_search failed: invalid packet
gpg: no default secret key: invalid packet
gpg: signing failed: invalid packet

first when i created the key it was successful, i got the above message hence thot the key has expired and tried to create another key,
here is what i got!!!!

gpg: [don't know]: invalid packet (ctb=45)
gpg: /home/akshay/.gnupg/pubring.gpg: copy to `/home/akshay/.gnupg/pubring.gpg.tmp' failed: invalid packet
gpg: error writing public keyring `/home/akshay/.gnupg/pubring.gpg': invalid packet
Key generation failed: invalid packet

can someone tell what is wrong???? i m new to this , so cud not figure out myself!
