apt-get : save the "downloaded" packages?
 

hi, i am using ubuntu 6.06.1 LTS. I installed the distro using a cdrom. Since i needed more packages ,i used apt-get to install most of them(In fact over a period of 5 months i have installed around 4 gb of packages). However my friend wants the packages and i dont have them,they are installed.
Say sometime in the future i reinstall the OS then i need to install them again using internet:(
Is it possible to download all the packages i install to a location so that i can use it in the future? How can one do it?
