Alien Conversion

Hi All,

I'm new to debian and ubuntu. I've used alien to convert a .rpm package to a .deb and have it stored locally. This is where I need help: I know how to use apt-get fine to download and install packages from remote repositories, but how do I install a .deb package that I have stored locally?

Thanks Much,

aq
