ADSL Modem Driver for Prolink Hurricance 8000

I have a Prolink Hurricance 8000 ADSL Modem. It comes with the driver for MS Windows. As I am new to Linux, I plan to install Linux (ubuntu) into my PC. However I don't have the necessary driver to utilise this modem.

Can anyone advise where I may be able to locate the driver software?

Thanks

17. Can I use Hurricane 8000 Modem on Linux Operating System?
No, currently Hurricane 8000 Modem does not support Linux.
Check that i dosn't work out of the box - plug it in and try configuring it normally. (USB support is getting real good - if the modem is very standards complient it may just work.)

However, I seem to have found a linux driver at Open Drivers... download here.
