hi everyone.can someone tell me how to unlock adept manager in kubuntu?

How do you mean "unlock" ?

When you start adept, it should prompt you for your password.

You can also start adept from a terminal window using:

Code:

sudo adept

Again, this will prompt you for your password.

Thanks IBall.I actually tried to open adept mgr,but after entering my root password,i got an error that says 'database locked cannot open adept mgr'.
Well i found a way round the problem by installing adept manager again.I was able to open adept afterward.

Did you enter your root password or your user's password? Ubuntu uses sudo - the root account is disabled by default. Starting adept from the KDE menu will prompt for your user's password, so this is the one you must enter.
